Earlier this month we shot the corporate video for The Lensbury, previously owned by Shell who still sit on the Board of Directors.

Three day’s of filming, a colossal call sheet and schedule, 10 extra’s, 6 actors, 6 crew, aerial filming, filming on and around water, with children. No pyrotechnics or animals though.

The Lensbury is a members club as well as running a large conference centre and hosting the England rugby training, so there are a large volume of people and a very busy staff.  This meant that we needed to strategically schedule where we would be doing what through the day to take advantage of either quiet moments or moments when there would be action to see or avoid.

We were able to get our drone up on one of the days to capture some beautiful shots of the grounds, the tennis courts and the river, this really adds something special to the film.

Our bride and groom are not a couple but actors who luckily knew each other and didn’t mind looking happily ‘just married’.  The wedding staff set up the room exactly has it would be for a wedding.

With so much memorabilia around the building we were spoilt for choice to capture some historical items.  This is a very traditional film covering all the different services The Lensbury offers.  We created beauty with shot composition and movement, in keeping with the brief of traditional and majestic.
