Easy steps to creating a great looking and strategic banner for your YouTube channel using Canva.
I walk you through creating all your YouTube artwork which are 3, your Banner, your Icon which most of us refer to as your profile image and then also your watermark.
Once you have created your artwork in Canva we’ll then head over to YouTube and I’ll show you how to upload your banner, icon and watermark into YouTube.
The YouTube Banner Dimension is: 2560 × 1440
What should you include in your banner?
This is the recommendation for businesses:
1. What is your channel about.
2. Why is that important.
3. An image of you or your ideal client (optional)
4. Your logo (optional)
5. Your PR (optional)
6. Your freebie (optional) Channel Profile image / Icon
It’s also advisable if you are personal brand or a brand with a face to use your face, rather than a logo. Your icon shows up in lots of places and others will connect far better with you and your channel if they see a human face.
